In the 6th match minute, SKODA ΞΑΝΘΗ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pipis Fragoulis to maneuver through the defense. Gerasimos Iosifidis kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, SKODA ΞΑΝΘΗ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marios Vlantis came free, but Celso Sasoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marios Vlantis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Celso Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Sasoin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koulis Valassoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Koulis Valassoulis took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Sasoin. Celso Sasoin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Telis Kalinis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the SKODA ΞΑΝΘΗ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telis Kalinis couldn't finish the play. Telis Kalinis had several of the Evνdhrion FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Davide Zuccarini as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 36th minute, Telis Kalinis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Davide Zuccarini, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Evνdhrion FC's Christos Staboulis got a free kick in the 37th minute. The SKODA ΞΑΝΘΗ FC fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when SKODA ΞΑΝΘΗ FC's Telis Kalinis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Telis Kalinis was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gerasimos Iosifidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davide Zuccarini was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. With a little luck, SKODA ΞΑΝΘΗ FC's Celso Sasoin got control of the ball when Koulis Valassoulis tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gerasimos Iosifidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Telis Kalinis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Zuccarini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koulis Valassoulis got free with Celso Sasoin in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christos Staboulis kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Evνdhrion FC got a freekick which was hit by Christos Staboulis. Miltos Papageorgiou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SKODA ΞΑΝΘΗ FC made a substitution. Takis Voulgarelis replaced Telis Kalinis. The supporters of Evνdhrion FC booed when SKODA ΞΑΝΘΗ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerasimos Iosifidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th match minute, Evνdhrion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marios Moulakakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Takis Voulgarelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Zuccarini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Evνdhrion FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Christos Staboulis hit a great ball. If Takis Voulgarelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes, Marios Vlantis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Evνdhrion FC and the SKODA ΞΑΝΘΗ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Evνdhrion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marios Vlantis to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Evνdhrion FC booed when SKODA ΞΑΝΘΗ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miltos Papageorgiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
