Marinos Varouchas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malounion. Thomas Mitropoulos came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Dragon Fire's Panos Asimoulis. But to his dismay, Panos Asimoulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Panos Asimoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanasis Tarsanas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Mitropoulos having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Anestis Trilofos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marinos Varouchas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anestis Trilofos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Michalis Tzanetakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Red Dragon Fire's Marinos Varouchas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Red Dragon Fire from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute Anestis Trilofos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marinos Varouchas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Asimoulis in the 41st minute of play forced Malounion's goalkeeper Thomas Mitropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panos Asimoulis was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Anestis Trilofos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malounion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Red Dragon Fire's Marinos Varouchas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Trilofos in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Panos Asimoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Dragon Fire's supporters rose to their feet, but Panos Asimoulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Mitropoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michalis Tzanetakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Marinos Varouchas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Red Dragon Fire got a freekick which was hit by Viktoras Asimakis. Anestis Trilofos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marinos Varouchas having to interfere. Thomas Mitropoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panos Asimoulis's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Michalis Tzanetakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Mitropoulos was a little too slow when Tolis Papagiannis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
