After 2 played minutes Trimodhion got a freekick which was hit by Anthimos Skountouflas. Nikos Kaloumenos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lefteris Kyriakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Kaloumenos in the 5th minute of the match. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trimodhion's goalkeeper Lefteris Kyriakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manos Barberis charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manos Barberis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manos Barberis hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Votsalαkia BC got a freekick which was hit by Louis Chatziioannou. Menelaos Karanastasis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerasimos Kapsimalis's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 37 played minutes Trimodhion got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Kountouroudas. In the 37th minute, Giorgos Kountouroudas fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Gerasimos Kapsimalis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Menelaos Karanastasis having to make a save. The supporters of Votsalαkia BC booed when Trimodhion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodosis Kapagiannopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Trimodhion getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Takis Bantrakos hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Trimodhion's zone, Iason Efthimakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lefteris Kyriakis came out of the goal and Iason Efthimakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Trimodhion's Giannis Kalantidis got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Nikos Kaloumenos came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Votsalαkia BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikos Kaloumenos couldn't finish the play. Nikos Kaloumenos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lefteris Kyriakis having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Iason Efthimakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Votsalαkia BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iason Efthimakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trimodhion's Giorgos Kountouroudas got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lefteris Kyriakis made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Iason Efthimakis sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Trimodhion's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Kaloumenos came free, but Lefteris Kyriakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gerasimos Kapsimalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Menelaos Karanastasis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerasimos Kapsimalis, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Menelaos Karanastasis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerasimos Kapsimalis went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute, Iason Efthimakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Votsalαkia BC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Trimodhion had won, even though Votsalαkia BC had held more of the ball.
