The crowd rose to their feet as Vassilis Paliouras kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lefteris Kyriakis. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After some careless play in the Megara BC defense, Felipe Carioca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fondas Giaourtelis. The Megara BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fondas Giaourtelis should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute, Theodosis Kapagiannopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerasimos Kapsimalis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Trimodhion booed when Megara BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thrasivoulos Amanatidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Trimodhion's Alekos Giaourtas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alekos Giaourtas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Trimodhion protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alekos Giaourtas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Trimodhion fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! After 36 played minutes Megara BC got a freekick which was hit by Koulis Dentzas. Stamatis Nebegleras hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Trimodhion's attentive Takis Bantrakos managed to snatch the ball when Christoforos Theofanidis made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 44th minute Felipe Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fondas Giaourtelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A hard shot 51 in the game by Felipe Carioca from a close distance when the talented Fondas Giaourtelis managed to make a qualified save. Megara BC's players were relieved. Christoforos Theofanidis kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koulis Dentzas in the 60th minute of play forced Trimodhion's goalkeeper Lefteris Kyriakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Theodosis Kapagiannopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Takis Bantrakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Vassilis Paliouras notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Trimodhion's Lefteris Kyriakis. Lefteris Kyriakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Koulis Dentzas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lefteris Kyriakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 93rd match minute, Trimodhion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Kountouroudas to maneuver through the defense. Megara BC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
