Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anastasios Varelakis took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Anastasios Varelakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lambis Petimezas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasios Varelakis's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Anastasios Varelakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karoplιsi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasios Varelakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Stefanos Kiousis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Karoplιsi FC's Kosmas Kavafis in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rodhokhorion's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd minute Kosmas Kavafis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lambis Petimezas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefanos Kiousis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Vardoulakis in the 24th minute of the match. Lambis Petimezas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasios Varelakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefanos Kiousis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tilemachos Kaiafas, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Stefanos Kiousis was a little too slow when Alexandros Kyriakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Karoplιsi FC's Giorgos Thiakos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sotos Tsevas in the 39 minute of the game. Rodhokhorion's Lambis Petimezas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kosmas Kavafis in the 41st minute of play. Emmanouil Tsatsaronis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lambis Petimezas having to interfere. Alexandros Kyriakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Stefanos Kiousis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loukianos Koulakidis during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The wind increased when Tilemachos Kaiafas made the kick off in the second half. Kosmas Kavafis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lambis Petimezas having to interfere. Stefanos Kiousis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandros Kyriakis in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Karoplιsi FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Goren. 62 minutes into the match, Karoplιsi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Kyriakis came free, but Stefanos Kiousis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Takis Vourkos kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Anastasios Varelakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lambis Petimezas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Karoplιsi FC's Stefanos Kiousis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tilemachos Kaiafas in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Rodhokhorion getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Takis Vourkos hit a great ball. If Anastasios Varelakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fivos Merganiotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 84 in the game by Kosmas Kavafis from a close distance when the talented Lambis Petimezas managed to make a qualified save. Rodhokhorion's players were relieved. 86 minutes into the match, Rodhokhorion's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Lammens came free, but Lambis Petimezas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, one of Rodhokhorion:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lambis Petimezas had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Anastasios Varelakis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Stefanos Kiousis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Vardoulakis in the 97th minute of play. Karoplιsi FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
