Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Pavlos Midas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Thodoris Kastanidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 6th minute Thanasis Meletiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thodoris Kastanidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Kilkis City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Lisgaras to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Kilkis City's goal looked a bit too open when Pavlos Midas came free, but Thodoris Kastanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kilkis City getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eustratios Nikakis hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Thanasis Meletiadis made a precise shot to the right of Thodoris Kastanidis. Kilkis City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Eustratios Nikakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kilkis City booed when Hagios Georgios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Papageorgiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanasis Meletiadis in the 27th minute of play forced Kilkis City's goalkeeper Thodoris Kastanidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thodoris Kastanidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vassilis Papageorgiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanasis Meletiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Thodoris Kastanidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavlos Midas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thodoris Kastanidis having to make a save. Thodoris Kastanidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanasis Meletiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Pavlos Midas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thodoris Kastanidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Miltiadis Soufleris kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Michalis Panagiotopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Thodoris Kastanidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Kilkis City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hagios Georgios were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustratios Nikakis to strike the kick off in the second half. Vassilis Papageorgiou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Thodoris Kastanidis made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Eustratios Nikakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavlos Midas got free with Thodoris Kastanidis in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Kilkis City's goal looked a bit too open when Thanasis Meletiadis came free, but Thodoris Kastanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kilkis City's zone, Pavlos Midas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thodoris Kastanidis came out of the goal and Pavlos Midas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanasis Meletiadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Hagios Georgios's Thanasis Meletiadis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thodoris Kastanidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kilkis City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Michalis Panagiotopoulos scored to the left of an out of position Thodoris Kastanidis, making the score, 0-4. Thodoris Kastanidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thanasis Meletiadis's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Thanasis Meletiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thodoris Kastanidis having to interfere. Thanasis Meletiadis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thodoris Kastanidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Michalis Panagiotopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
