Thodoris Dermitzakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pipis Vrekousis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Alkis Agritis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akropotamiα's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkis Agritis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Soulis Sepsas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Theotokatos in the 8th minute of play forced Grammatikoϊ's goalkeeper Soulis Sepsas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pipis Vrekousis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyriakos Vidalis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pipis Vrekousis came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Grammatikoϊ's Kyriakos Roubakis. But to his dismay, Kyriakos Roubakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Kostas Theotokatos fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Akropotamiα's protests and gave Kostas Theotokatos a yellow card for diving instead. Kostas Theotokatos kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Thodoris Dermitzakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pipis Vrekousis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thodoris Dermitzakis's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Kyriakos Vidalis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grammatikoϊ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyriakos Vidalis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kyriakos Vidalis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pipis Vrekousis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Thodoris Dermitzakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pipis Vrekousis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Vidalis in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Alkis Kontodimos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Pipis Vrekousis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thodoris Dermitzakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pipis Vrekousis having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyriakos Vidalis made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Akropotamiα's goalkeeper Pipis Vrekousis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thodoris Dermitzakis. Pipis Vrekousis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyriakos Vidalis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akropotamiα's Pipis Vrekousis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyriakos Vidalis in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Kyriakos Vidalis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grammatikoϊ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyriakos Vidalis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thodoris Dermitzakis got free with Pipis Vrekousis in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Kyriakos Vidalis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Kostas Theotokatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pipis Vrekousis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thodoris Dermitzakis in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Kyriakos Vidalis lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Pipis Vrekousis. Thodoris Dermitzakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Pipis Vrekousis made a huge save. In the 90th match minute, Akropotamiα was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Theotokatos to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thodoris Dermitzakis got free with Pipis Vrekousis in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the game, one of Akropotamiα:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Grammatikoϊ played a much better game than Akropotamiα and deserved their victory. The Akropotamiα players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
