In the 19th minute Kostas Kakaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pipis Vryzas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apostolis Lazaris in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pipis Vryzas saved Hagios Georgios from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Apostolis Lazaris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pipis Vryzas was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Pipis Vryzas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apostolis Lazaris's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Hagios Georgios's Pipis Vryzas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolis Lazaris in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Apostolis Lazaris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pipis Vryzas. Hagios Georgios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apostolis Lazaris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match was over Radovizi BC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hagios Georgios throughout the match.
