In the 2nd minute, Loukianos Laskos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pantelis Portokaloglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermis Togas having to interfere. Nikiforos Thamnidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tasos Theotokatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9 minutes, Pantelis Portokaloglou made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tifrosιllion BC's Ermis Togas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute Aris Polymerou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikiforos Thamnidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Tifrosιllion BC's Tasos Theotokatos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikiforos Thamnidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Panagiotis Meraklis took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ermis Togas to make any attempt to save it. Nikos Kortselis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ermis Togas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Dhrimon's goal looked a bit too open when Tasos Theotokatos came free, but Nikiforos Thamnidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pantelis Portokaloglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tifrosιllion BC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Christos Karagiorgas scored to the left of an out of position Ermis Togas, making the score, 3-1. Nikiforos Thamnidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Benakis in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dhrimon's Alkinoos Labrineas got a free kick in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikos Kortselis during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tasos Theotokatos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dhrimon's Nikiforos Thamnidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tasos Theotokatos in the 52nd minute of play. Nikiforos Thamnidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aris Polymerou , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Pantelis Portokaloglou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dhrimon's supporters rose to their feet, but Pantelis Portokaloglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermis Togas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dhrimon's Nikiforos Thamnidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Dhrimon from getting a goal against them. Tasos Theotokatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markos Papaefthimiou charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Markos Papaefthimiou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tifrosιllion BC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Dhrimon a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christos Karagiorgas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tifrosιllion BC's Ermis Togas. 4-1. One of Dhrimon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tifrosιllion BC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Nikiforos Thamnidis, was totally fooled by Tifrosιllion BC's Efthimis Loukakis, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tifrosιllion BC's goalkeeper Ermis Togas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ermis Togas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pantelis Portokaloglou in the 88th minute of the match. Nikiforos Thamnidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tasos Theotokatos in the 92nd minute of play. Nikiforos Thamnidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chatziantoniou Kalimanis in the 94th minute. Aris Polymerou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
