Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pantelis Portokaloglou took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nikiforos Thamnidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spyros Ritsos in the 6th minute of play. Spyros Ritsos took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikiforos Thamnidis. Nikiforos Thamnidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 13th match minute, Dhrimon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Kortselis to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Dhrimon defense, Spyros Ritsos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikiforos Thamnidis. The Dhrimon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikiforos Thamnidis should have stopped the shot. Nikiforos Thamnidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spyros Ritsos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Vaḯtsia BC got a freekick which was hit by Takis Valavanidis. If Nikos Kortselis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikiforos Thamnidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vrasidas Kaloutas in the 26th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Spyros Ritsos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikiforos Thamnidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spyros Ritsos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nikiforos Thamnidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikiforos Thamnidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telis Karnezis in the 45th minute of the match. After 47 minutes of play, Vaḯtsia BC's Vrasidas Kaloutas made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikiforos Thamnidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vrasidas Kaloutas was the one to do the kick off. Minas Zouganelis hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Themistoklis Panteliadis made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Minas Zouganelis however managed to control. After some careless play in the Dhrimon defense, Vrasidas Kaloutas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikiforos Thamnidis. The Dhrimon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikiforos Thamnidis should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Charilaos Nanos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vaḯtsia BC's Minas Zouganelis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Kortselis in the 61st minute of play forced Vaḯtsia BC's goalkeeper Michalis Krassanakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Vrasidas Kaloutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikiforos Thamnidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikiforos Thamnidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vrasidas Kaloutas in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Vaḯtsia BC's goal looked a bit too open when Pantelis Portokaloglou came free, but Michalis Krassanakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Spyros Ritsos got free with Nikiforos Thamnidis in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute Vrasidas Kaloutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikiforos Thamnidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spyros Ritsos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Nikiforos Thamnidis made a huge save. Nikos Kortselis took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michalis Krassanakis. Michalis Krassanakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Vrasidas Kaloutas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nikiforos Thamnidis. That made the score 1-8 in the 89 minute of play. Dhrimon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Vrasidas Kaloutas scored to the left of an out of position Nikiforos Thamnidis, making the score, 1-9.
