Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sakis Vekris made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 minutes, Antonis Tirogalos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zoryiani and the Petrνlon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 played minutes Zoryiani got a freekick which was hit by Antonis Tirogalos. Giorgos Kouveliotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakis Vekris in the 5th minute of the match. Petrνlon FC:s Ilias Sterpis showed great skill when he stopped Stefanos Siapkas:s penalty. Giorgos Kouveliotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Giantzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Antonis Tirogalos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 13 minutes had been played. After 14 played minutes Zoryiani got a freekick which was hit by Antonis Tirogalos. Apostolos Serpanos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Thomas Dadamis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pipis Nestoriou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 21 in the game by Pipis Nestoriou from a close distance when the talented Ilias Sterpis managed to make a qualified save. Petrνlon FC's players were relieved. Pipis Nestoriou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Thomas Dadamis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zoryiani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petrνlon FC the free kick. In the 28th minute, Thomas Dadamis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Pipis Nestoriou fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ilias Sterpis, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Thomas Dadamis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zoryiani's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Dadamis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilias Sterpis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Dadamis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ilias Sterpis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pipis Nestoriou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ilias Sterpis came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zoryiani's Pipis Nestoriou. But to his dismay, Pipis Nestoriou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Pipis Nestoriou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Andreas Kostoulas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sakis Vekris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Petrνlon FC's Sakis Vekris ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giorgos Kouveliotis. Giorgos Kouveliotis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The audience was convinced that Pipis Nestoriou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilias Sterpis was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 75th minute Sakis Vekris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Kouveliotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pipis Nestoriou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Pipis Nestoriou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgos Papaikonomou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Sterpis having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Pipis Nestoriou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sakis Vekris struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Giorgos Kouveliotis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petrνlon FC. Zoryiani's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
