If Stelios Bogias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Psychν's Alekos Gaitanopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelios Bogias in the 5th minute of play. Stelios Bogias took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alekos Gaitanopoulos. Alekos Gaitanopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Psychν's Giannis Patselas got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Giannis Patselas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marinos Poulianitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Makis Giannopoulos was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Gιrmesi FC's Makis Giannopoulos got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Evaggelos Kesaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alekos Gaitanopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelios Bogias, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Panagiotis Korelas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stelios Bogias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the game, Panagiotis Korelas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Psychν's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gιrmesi FC the free kick. The supporters of Gιrmesi FC booed when Psychν was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panagiotis Korelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaggelos Kesaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marinos Poulianitis having to interfere. Stelios Bogias's late challenge caught a Psychν's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stelios Bogias helped the player get up and apologised. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giannis Patselas made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Telis Triantopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Psychν's Alekos Gaitanopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Stelios Bogias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alekos Gaitanopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Telis Triantopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Omiros Rikkas came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Gιrmesi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omiros Rikkas couldn't finish the play. If Stelios Bogias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vlassis Vangelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Alekos Gaitanopoulos made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Tasos Antoniadis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charis Nikolakopoulos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Stelios Bogias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alekos Gaitanopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alekos Gaitanopoulos made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Stelios Bogias sent off a good shot on target. The Psychν fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gιrmesi FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
