Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stathis Karnezis in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alekos Gaitanopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrey Starodubskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alekos Gaitanopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Andrey Starodubskiy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alekos Gaitanopoulos having to make a save. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Psychν's goalkeeper Alekos Gaitanopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Psychν's zone, Andrey Starodubskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alekos Gaitanopoulos came out of the goal and Andrey Starodubskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Akis Mitsotakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alekos Gaitanopoulos came out and tried to block the shot, but Akis Mitsotakis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 96th minute. The Psychν fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Afisiσn FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
