PANIONIOS GSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiros Bantras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telis Tsouloufis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Playiárion BC's Telis Tsouloufis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiros Bantras in the 16th minute of play. When PANIONIOS GSS's Stavros Koukos in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Playiárion BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telis Tsouloufis should have stopped the shot. If Stavros Koukos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiros Bantras struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Telis Tsouloufis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PANIONIOS GSS. Vladimiros Bantras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Telis Tsouloufis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 minutes, Antonis Papaggelatos mouthed his way into the referee's book. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stavros Koukos to make the kick off. Telis Tsouloufis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stavros Koukos in the 59th minute of the match. Playiárion BC's Telis Tsouloufis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Playiárion BC from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute of the match, Stavros Koukos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Telis Tsouloufis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vladimiros Bantras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telis Tsouloufis having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Apostolos Mousios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PANIONIOS GSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Playiárion BC the free kick. A collision led to PANIONIOS GSS getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Apostolos Mousios hit a great ball. Stavros Koukos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Playiárion BC booed when PANIONIOS GSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apostolos Mousios didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stratos Klotsidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vlassis Theofilopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
