Dimitris Papadamopoulos started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Mιgara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Papadamopoulos came free, but Charalambos Vouzas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sakis Massoutas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgos Antonakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Sotos Samanoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mιgara FC booed when MAVROGATOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefanos Vamvakidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Fokas Eleftheriadis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sotos Samanoglou skillfully saved the ball. Grigoris Pseftis's late challenge caught a MAVROGATOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grigoris Pseftis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mιgara FC's Grigoris Pseftis got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mιgara FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thanasis Karagiannis was slow to take the kick. During this time MAVROGATOS FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Thanasis Karagiannis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mιgara FC's Charalambos Vouzas did a great save. Charalambos Vouzas came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by MAVROGATOS FC's Dimitris Papadamopoulos. But to his dismay, Dimitris Papadamopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Stefanos Perakos hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Sakis Massoutas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charalambos Vouzas. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 28th minute of the match Thanasis Karagiannis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charalambos Vouzas skillfully saved the ball. Mιgara FC's Charalambos Vouzas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerasimos Leontiadis in the 34th minute of play. MAVROGATOS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thanasis Karagiannis in the 37th minute. The corner led MAVROGATOS FC's Thanasis Karagiannis to fire away a dangerous shot which Charalambos Vouzas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Charalambos Vouzas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Papadamopoulos in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Mιgara FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sakis Massoutas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Sakis Massoutas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giorgos Antonakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Charalambos Vouzas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Papadamopoulos in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Mιgara FC defense, Dimitris Papadamopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charalambos Vouzas. The Mιgara FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charalambos Vouzas should have stopped the shot. When Efthimis Karakotsos fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAVROGATOS FC's protests and gave Efthimis Karakotsos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MAVROGATOS FC's Efthimis Karakotsos got a free kick in the 67th minute. Charalambos Vouzas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Papadamopoulos in the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Mιgara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Massoutas came free, but Charalambos Vouzas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
