Fivos Kechagiadakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotos Samanoglou having to interfere. In the 9th minute of the match Emmanouil Koukoulopoulos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sotos Samanoglou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Apostolikas Gouziotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sotos Samanoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MAVROGATOS FC's Ntinos Mastrogiannis got a free kick in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Fivos Kechagiadakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sotos Samanoglou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. MAVROGATOS FC's Sotos Samanoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fivos Kechagiadakis in the 26th minute of play. Sotos Samanoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fivos Kechagiadakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. MAVROGATOS FC's Sotos Samanoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolikas Gouziotis in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolikas Gouziotis in the 38th minute of play forced MAVROGATOS FC's goalkeeper Sotos Samanoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dimitris Papadamopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Skafi got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Pomonis. In the 42ndth minute of the game Dimitris Papadamopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skafi's Argyris Katsapopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to MAVROGATOS FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Vaios Tsaliagos hit a great ball. Argyris Katsapopoulos made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Sakis Massoutas sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimitris Papadamopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sotos Samanoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostolikas Gouziotis in the 53rd minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Sakis Massoutas made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Skafi's Argyris Katsapopoulos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apostolikas Gouziotis in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sotos Samanoglou saved MAVROGATOS FC from getting behind. Stefanos Vamvakidis's late challenge caught a Skafi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefanos Vamvakidis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, MAVROGATOS FC's Stefanos Vamvakidis got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MAVROGATOS FC's zone, Fivos Kechagiadakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sotos Samanoglou came out of the goal and Fivos Kechagiadakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apostolikas Gouziotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sotos Samanoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Skafi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
