After 2 played minutes Vrysoúla got a freekick which was hit by Christodoulos Ververis. In the 4th match minute, Amfνpolis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikiforos Karasavvidis to maneuver through the defense. Grigoris Mantziris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alexis Papantoniou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Amfνpolis FC's Marios Zanias got control of the ball when Marinos Katsikogiannis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marinos Katsikogiannis scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marios Zanias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marinos Katsikogiannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amfνpolis FC's Marios Zanias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Amfνpolis FC from getting a goal against them. Alexis Papantoniou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Mantziris in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Vrysoúla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themistoklis Zervidis to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Amfνpolis FC's Marios Zanias got control of the ball when Marinos Katsikogiannis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marios Zanias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koulis Kontopanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marinos Katsikogiannis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marios Zanias having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Koulis Kontopanos to strike the kick off in the second half. Marios Zanias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinos Katsikogiannis in the 51st minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Panos Sachinidis rounded Vrysoúla's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Amfνpolis FC's Marios Zanias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koulis Kontopanos in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vrysoúla's Themistoklis Zervidis got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koulis Kontopanos in the 74th minute of play forced Amfνpolis FC's goalkeeper Marios Zanias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Grigoris Mantziris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vrysoúla's Koulis Kontopanos got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marinos Katsikogiannis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Marios Zanias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Grigoris Mantziris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amfνpolis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigoris Mantziris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marios Zanias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Katsikogiannis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Amfνpolis FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
