Kosmas Krikos kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Amfνpolis FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Grigoris Mantziris hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Kosmas Krikos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marios Zanias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amfνpolis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigoris Mantziris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Christos Iatros could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Marios Zanias however easily saved by the left post. After 76 minutes Amfνpolis FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vassilis Valkanis who took care of the corner kick. Tripoli FC's Pantelis Antonatos got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amfνpolis FC's Marios Zanias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Amfνpolis FC from getting a goal against them. Torsten Beckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Sachinidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Tripoli FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
