Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) When Kostas Papapetrou fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strofyliakos's protests and gave Kostas Papapetrou a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Kostas Papapetrou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Gerakon FC's zone, Giannis Bonatsos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Samios came out of the goal and Giannis Bonatsos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charalambos Papagiannidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Samios having to interfere. Kostas Samios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Bonatsos, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Strofyliakos booed when Gerakon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Spiliopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kostas Samios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Bonatsos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Kostas Spiliopoulos hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Charalambos Papagiannidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strofyliakos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charalambos Papagiannidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Panos Toufekas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gerakon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strofyliakos the free kick. A collision led to Gerakon FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Panos Toufekas hit a great ball. Aggelos Kitsas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Charalambos Papagiannidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kostas Samios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Bonatsos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Charalambos Papagiannidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aggelos Kitsas to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Gerakon FC's goalkeeper Kostas Samios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giannis Bonatsos. In the 61st minute Fivos Velakoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omiros Papageorgiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fivos Velakoglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kostas Spiliopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Giannis Bonatsos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Kostas Samios skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 79 played minutes Gerakon FC got a freekick which was hit by Pipis Anastopoulos. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gerakon FC's goalkeeper Kostas Samios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Strofyliakos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
