Spectators: 7549 (Terracing: 5695, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 108) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Charalambos Papagiannidis got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themistoklis Borovilos in the 3rd minute of play forced Strofyliakos's goalkeeper Omiros Papageorgiou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marinos Asimakoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Strofyliakos were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Karababαs BC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valerios Karagoutis took the corner. After taking down the ball on Strofyliakos's corner Valerios Karagoutis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kostas Plevritis quite easily take care of the ball. Fotis Kalokiris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omiros Papageorgiou having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themistoklis Borovilos in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omiros Papageorgiou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sotiris Labaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Omiros Papageorgiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Fotis Kalokiris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Omiros Papageorgiou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fotis Kalokiris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omiros Papageorgiou having to interfere. If Themistoklis Borovilos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Fotis Kalokiris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Marinos Asimakoglou fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karababαs BC's protests and gave Marinos Asimakoglou a yellow card for diving instead. Karababαs BC's Kostas Plevritis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charalambos Papagiannidis in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Strofyliakos's goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Kalokiris came free, but Omiros Papageorgiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Charalambos Papagiannidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strofyliakos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charalambos Papagiannidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giannis Bonatsos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Kostas Plevritis made a huge save. Omiros Papageorgiou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themistoklis Borovilos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Themistoklis Borovilos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Markos Samanoglou came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Strofyliakos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markos Samanoglou couldn't finish the play. Strofyliakos's Omiros Papageorgiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themistoklis Borovilos in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Karababαs BC booed when Strofyliakos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minas Sotiriadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. From close distance Fotis Kalokiris pressed in the 0-2 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 59 minutes into the game. After a rather tough play, Karababαs BC's Marinos Asimakoglou got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Omiros Papageorgiou was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Themistoklis Borovilos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Themistoklis Borovilos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After 71 played minutes Strofyliakos got a freekick which was hit by Markos Samanoglou. After 72 played minutes Strofyliakos got a freekick which was hit by Minas Sotiriadis. After recieving a nice pass, Karababαs BC's Alkis Kosmakis tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Themistoklis Borovilos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omiros Papageorgiou having to interfere. Giannis Bonatsos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charalambos Papagiannidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Kostas Plevritis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Themistoklis Borovilos struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Omiros Papageorgiou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karababαs BC. When Markos Samanoglou fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strofyliakos's protests and gave Markos Samanoglou a yellow card for diving instead. Markos Samanoglou hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Fotis Kalokiris took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omiros Papageorgiou. Omiros Papageorgiou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Fotis Kalokiris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omiros Papageorgiou having to interfere. The Karababαs BC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
