Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christos Plousis got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Niki Sitias booed when Dhipσtamos BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanasis Argyrakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Dhipσtamos BC defense, Christos Plousis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stamatis Tataridis. The Dhipσtamos BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stamatis Tataridis should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Christos Plousis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niki Sitias's supporters rose to their feet, but Christos Plousis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stamatis Tataridis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paris Charoulis got free with Stamatis Tataridis in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 12 minutes, Christos Plousis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niki Sitias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christos Plousis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dhipσtamos BC's zone, Petros Papagiannoulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stamatis Tataridis came out of the goal and Petros Papagiannoulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Petros Papagiannoulis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stamatis Tataridis. Petros Papagiannoulis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Christos Plousis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christos Plousis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamatis Tataridis having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Niki Sitias's goal looked a bit too open when Soulis Alexidis came free, but Sokratis Krasakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Dhipσtamos BC booed when Niki Sitias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spyros Ntaifas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Niki Sitias got a freekick which was hit by Spyros Ntaifas. Sokratis Krasakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soulis Alexidis in the 34th minute of the match. Niki Sitias's Sokratis Krasakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soulis Alexidis in the 39th minute of play. Johan Sjöberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stamatis Tataridis. Dhipσtamos BC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Christos Plousis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Petros Papagiannoulis might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stamatis Tataridis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petros Papagiannoulis ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 56 minutes, Christos Plousis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niki Sitias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christos Plousis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stamatis Tataridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petros Papagiannoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Niki Sitias's Christos Plousis in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dhipσtamos BC's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Niki Sitias fully deserved thier win.
