Petros Vakoufaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Alketas Pitsipopakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kleistó FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mezílon the free kick. Giannis Zacharoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achilleas Tsardikos having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Nikos Mitakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Miltos Kopitsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Giannis Zacharoulis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Achilleas Tsardikos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, Mezílon's Giannis Zacharoulis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Achilleas Tsardikos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grigoris Panagiotidis during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vassilis Proedropoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kleistó FC. Mezílon's Vassilis Proedropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Kopitsis in the 46th minute of play. Miltos Kopitsis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miltos Kopitsis to make the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Babbis Efthimiou got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vassilis Proedropoulos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 59th minute Babbis Tsirikas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Proedropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes Kleistó FC got a freekick which was hit by Miltos Kopitsis. The match ended in a draw.
