Nikos Kousas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Age Of Empires's goal looked a bit too open when Omiros Tsorlinis came free, but Gerasimos Kotakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes Age Of Empires got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Kiratzis. After recieving a nice pass, Kutunjalí FC's Iraklis Stathatos tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Age Of Empires defense, Nikos Kousas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerasimos Kotakis. The Age Of Empires fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerasimos Kotakis should have stopped the shot. Theofanis Skiadopoulos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Anthimos Kontos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Age Of Empires. 30 minutes into the match, Kutunjalí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Makis Tavoularis came free, but Anthimos Kontos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The crowd rose to their feet as Omiros Tsorlinis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerasimos Kotakis. That made the score 1-2 in the 75 minute of play. After 83rd play minutes Omiros Tsorlinis shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Gerasimos Kotakis and just under the crossbar into goal. Omiros Tsorlinis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerasimos Kotakis having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Kutunjalí FC's Gerasimos Kotakis threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Omiros Tsorlinis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kutunjalí FC's Omiros Tsorlinis got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 played minutes Age Of Empires got a freekick which was hit by Vaggelis Kitrinidis. In the 96th minute, Kutunjalí FC's Omiros Tsorlinis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Kutunjalí FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
