Chrisostomos Seletopoulos came out of the goal and Antonis Krevetzakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Takis Zaradoukas took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chrisostomos Seletopoulos. Chrisostomos Seletopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Takis Zaradoukas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plissoi's supporters rose to their feet, but Takis Zaradoukas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chrisostomos Seletopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Plissoi's Tasos Kapranidis got control of the ball when Ilias Nestoroulis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Plissoi's goalkeeper Tasos Kapranidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilias Nestoroulis. Antonis Krevetzakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chrisostomos Seletopoulos having to interfere. Takis Zaradoukas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Antonis Krevetzakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chrisostomos Seletopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Plissoi's Takis Zaradoukas got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shamrock Glory's Chrisostomos Seletopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonis Krevetzakis in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute, Ilias Nestoroulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Apostolis Tsiamakis's late challenge caught a Plissoi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apostolis Tsiamakis helped the player get up and apologised. 71 minutes into the match, Shamrock Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Antonis Krevetzakis came free, but Chrisostomos Seletopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Takis Zaradoukass short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Chrisostomos Seletopoulos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Plissoi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
