Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Christos Giannakopoulos came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Thiva's Spyros Mitropanos. But to his dismay, Spyros Mitropanos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Thiva booed when Vlithiαs BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simos Karidas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Paraskevas Ipsilantis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vlithiαs BC's Christos Giannakopoulos didn't even have to move. After 13 played minutes, Thiva's Paraskevas Ipsilantis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christos Giannakopoulos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Thiva reached it. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vlithiαs BC's goalkeeper Christos Giannakopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christos Giannakopoulos made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Spyros Mitropanos sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Iason Panagakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spyros Mitropanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Spyros Mitropanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tasos Savoidakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Thiva getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Christos Labakis hit a great ball. Tasos Savoidakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Chatzipetrou having to interfere. Christos Kentikelenis kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Thiva's Alexis Aggelakos got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Thiva's goal looked a bit too open when Kleanthis Anastasiou came free, but Nikos Chatzipetrou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Vlithiαs BC got a freekick which was hit by Iason Panagakos. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tasos Savoidakis to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christos Labakis during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Thiva getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Christos Labakis hit a great ball. If Kleanthis Anastasiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tasos Savoidakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christos Giannakopoulos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thiva's Christos Labakis got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Christos Labakis off the ground. Tasos Savoidakis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Vlithiαs BC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Kleanthis Anastasiou in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nikos Chatzipetrou, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Thiva fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vlithiαs BC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
