Spectators: 7690 (Terracing: 5768, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stratos Tsimidakis kicked off to start the match. Stratos Tsimidakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loukas Karagiotakis having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Kyriakos Egomitis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loukas Karagiotakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stratos Tsimidakis in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Stratos Tsimidakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STRIKERS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stratos Tsimidakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stratos Tsimidakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loukas Karagiotakis having to interfere. Stratos Tsimidakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loukas Karagiotakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Pιfka FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tasos Lazaridis hit a great ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Stratos Tsimidakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STRIKERS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stratos Tsimidakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Pιfka FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyriakos Egomitis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentinos Kondilis in the 31st minute of play forced STRIKERS FC's goalkeeper Vaios Minou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pιfka FC's Petros Tzanetakis got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zinon Kontopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zinon Kontopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zinon Kontopoulos hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Stratos Tsimidakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petros Tzanetakis made a kick off. Petros Tzanetakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vaios Minou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petros Vafopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 minutes of play, STRIKERS FC's Stratos Tsimidakis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loukas Karagiotakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, Stratos Tsimidakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loukas Karagiotakis. Pιfka FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stratos Tsimidakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Vaios Minou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petros Tzanetakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute Tolis Kounalakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loukas Karagiotakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tolis Kounalakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pιfka FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for STRIKERS FC.
