Manolis Koboropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achilleas Gonias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kostas Lianopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Sfakianos in the 10th minute of play forced Loco Lions's goalkeeper Chatziioannou Panousopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chatziioannou Panousopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iraklis Meletakis in the 15th minute. Petros Zacharatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chatziioannou Panousopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostas Lianopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Petros Zacharatos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loco Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petros Zacharatos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Michalis Papapostolou came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Loco Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Papapostolou couldn't finish the play. Petros Zacharatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manolis Koboropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achilleas Gonias in the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Petros Zacharatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolis Koboropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Loco Lions getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Iraklis Polimenakos hit a great ball. Chatziioannou Panousopoulos was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Kostas Lianopoulos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kostas Lianopoulos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Petros Zacharatos made the kick off in the second half. Manolis Koboropoulos came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Loco Lions's Achilleas Gonias. But to his dismay, Achilleas Gonias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Achilleas Gonias came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Manolis Koboropoulos could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Giannis Sfakianos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salamanlí's supporters rose to their feet, but Giannis Sfakianos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chatziioannou Panousopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Giannis Sfakianos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giannis Sfakianos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chatziioannou Panousopoulos having to make a save. Achilleas Gonias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manolis Koboropoulos having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Kostas Lianopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salamanlí's supporters rose to their feet, but Kostas Lianopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chatziioannou Panousopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kostas Lianopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Chatziioannou Panousopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kostas Lianopoulos hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Manolis Koboropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petros Zacharatos in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Kostas Lianopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giannis Sfakianos came free in the 96th minute and tried to tip the ball over Chatziioannou Panousopoulos, but to the joy of Loco Lions's supporters the ball went over. Chants of Loco Lions echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Salamanlí had held the ball for most of the match.
