Spectators: 7692 (Terracing: 5770, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marinos Kagiorgis got the match started through his kick off. Christodoulos Platonidis hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 4 played minutes, Gasmades FC's Charalambos Karalis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Panos Stergiatos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gasmades FC reached it. If Marinos Kagiorgis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgos Darlas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Theofanis Klonaridis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Marios Kouropoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gasmades FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marios Kouropoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panos Stergiatos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to ROZ FOUSTITSES getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Nikos Symeonidis hit a great ball. Charalambos Karalis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Marios Kouropoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Marios Kouropoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gasmades FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 33 minutes, Prokopis Labiris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gasmades FC and the ROZ FOUSTITSES players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gasmades FC's Prokopis Labiris got a free kick in the 33rd minute. ROZ FOUSTITSES were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Gasmades FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Themos Varouchas took the corner. Giorgos Darlas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Theofanis Klonaridis made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Giorgos Darlas sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Gasmades FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charalambos Bountouris was the one to do the kick off. Themos Varouchas hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Gasmades FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 53rd minute of the game, when Charalambos Karalis after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of ROZ FOUSTITSES's goal. Charalambos Karalis was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gasmades FC's zone, Charalambos Bountouris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theofanis Klonaridis came out of the goal and Charalambos Bountouris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theofanis Klonaridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Darlas, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charalambos Bountouris in the 64th minute of play forced Gasmades FC's goalkeeper Theofanis Klonaridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes of play, Gasmades FC's Marios Kouropoulos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Panos Stergiatos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marios Kouropoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Panos Stergiatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panos Stergiatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Kagiorgis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theofanis Klonaridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charalambos Bountouris in the 83rd minute of play. Charalambos Bountouris took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theofanis Klonaridis. Theofanis Klonaridis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Charalambos Bountouris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gasmades FC played a much better game than ROZ FOUSTITSES and deserved their victory. The ROZ FOUSTITSES players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
