In the 24th minute Pantelis Tripolitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Oxyzoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michalis Gelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thodoris Paspalakis in the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Legend's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Konstantinos Agathakos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 33 played minutes ΞΥΛΟΚΑΣΤΡΟ Α.Ο got a freekick which was hit by Louis Tamvakis. Louis Tamvakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chrisostomos Morikis struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Chrisostomos Morikis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΞΥΛΟΚΑΣΤΡΟ Α.Ο's supporters rose to their feet, but Chrisostomos Morikis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanasis Oxyzoglou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Legend's zone, Louis Tamvakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanasis Oxyzoglou came out of the goal and Louis Tamvakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lazaros Kyriakos was the one to do the kick off. Pantelis Tripolitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanasis Oxyzoglou having to interfere. When Alexandros Mitrovassilis fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legend's protests and gave Alexandros Mitrovassilis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Alexandros Mitrovassilis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, ΞΥΛΟΚΑΣΤΡΟ Α.Ο's Ntinos Gialesakis got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Nikiforos Riganopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Thodoris Paspalakis took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Michalis Gelis to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lazaros Kyriakos in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michalis Gelis saved ΞΥΛΟΚΑΣΤΡΟ Α.Ο from getting behind. ΞΥΛΟΚΑΣΤΡΟ Α.Ο's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Lazaros Kyriakos scored to the left of an out of position Michalis Gelis, making the score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Legend's zone, Nikiforos Riganopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanasis Oxyzoglou came out of the goal and Nikiforos Riganopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louis Tamvakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thanasis Oxyzoglou having to make a save. Pantelis Tripolitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Louis Tamvakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanasis Oxyzoglou having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chrisostomos Morikis in the 96th minute of play forced Legend's goalkeeper Thanasis Oxyzoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
