The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Tzanetakis in the 6th minute of play forced DOXA DRAMAS's goalkeeper Vaggelis Eleftheriadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th match minute, DOXA DRAMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkis Vassaras to maneuver through the defense. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentinos Kondilis, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Valentinos Kondilis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Eleftheriadis having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Zinon Kominatos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DOXA DRAMAS and the Pιfka FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Petros Tzanetakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Pιfka FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zinon Kominatos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Tzanetakis in the 26th minute of play. DOXA DRAMAS's Vaggelis Eleftheriadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petros Tzanetakis in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, DOXA DRAMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Tzanetakis came free, but Vaggelis Eleftheriadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Petros Tzanetakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Eleftheriadis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Petros Tzanetakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loukas Karagiotakis came out of the goal and Zacharias Porros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Iosif Tassoglou notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pιfka FC's Loukas Karagiotakis. Loukas Karagiotakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pιfka FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DOXA DRAMAS.
