Orestis Karachalios made a great header on ΞΥΛΟΚΑΣΤΡΟ Α.Ο's corner, it was just that Skouloudhianα FC's Charis Kokotoulis managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Skouloudhianα FC's Lambis Kaloritis got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Chrisostomos Morikis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ΞΥΛΟΚΑΣΤΡΟ Α.Ο booed when Skouloudhianα FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pantelis Tripolitis made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Skouloudhianα FC's zone, Nikiforos Riganopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charis Kokotoulis came out of the goal and Nikiforos Riganopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Skouloudhianα FC's Lambis Kaloritis in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pantelis Tripolitis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Charis Kokotoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pantelis Tripolitis might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charis Kokotoulis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pantelis Tripolitis ran back to his position shaking his head. Louis Tamvakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charis Kokotoulis having to interfere. If Pantelis Tripolitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Louis Tamvakis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Charis Kokotoulis, passed just outside the right post. If Pantelis Tripolitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as ΞΥΛΟΚΑΣΤΡΟ Α.Ο's Pantelis Tripolitis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Charis Kokotoulis. That made the score 0-2 after 85 minutes of play. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Skouloudhianα FC. Errikos Papoutsis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Michalis Gelis. 1-2. ΞΥΛΟΚΑΣΤΡΟ Α.Ο's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 98th minute of the game, when Pantelis Tripolitis after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Skouloudhianα FC's goal. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
