In the 4th minute, ROZ FOUSTITSES's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stratos Tsimidakis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Tolis Kounalakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, STRIKERS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Bountouris came free, but Vaios Minou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charalambos Bountouris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vaios Minou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vassilis Kotakis fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STRIKERS FC's protests and gave Vassilis Kotakis a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in STRIKERS FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! In the 36th minute Charalambos Bountouris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaios Minou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Petros Vafopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaios Minou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charalambos Bountouris, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charalambos Bountouris in the 46th minute of play forced STRIKERS FC's goalkeeper Vaios Minou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Giorgos Darlas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The STRIKERS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ROZ FOUSTITSES were winning 0-1.

Tolis Kounalakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Panos Stergiatos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Stratos Tsimidakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STRIKERS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stratos Tsimidakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to ROZ FOUSTITSES getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Giorgos Darlas hit a great ball. Stratos Tsimidakis's late challenge caught a ROZ FOUSTITSES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stratos Tsimidakis helped the player get up and apologised. 73 minutes into the match, STRIKERS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Darlas came free, but Vaios Minou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Stratos Tsimidakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, STRIKERS FC's Vaios Minou got control of the ball when Charalambos Bountouris tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vaios Minou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giorgos Darlas went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ROZ FOUSTITSES had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
