The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Gasmades FC's Prokopis Labiris got a free kick in the 4th minute. Giannis Karalexopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofanis Klonaridis having to interfere. Theofanis Klonaridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignatios Iosifakis in the 12th minute of the match. Ignatios Iosifakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Theofanis Klonaridis having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Marios Kouropoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gasmades FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marios Kouropoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filippos Mouratidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giannis Karalexopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theofanis Klonaridis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giannis Karalexopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Gasmades FC's zone, Ignatios Iosifakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theofanis Klonaridis came out of the goal and Ignatios Iosifakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Α.Σ. ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΙΤΟΧΩΡΟΥ's Filippos Mouratidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Kouropoulos in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Ignatios Iosifakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theofanis Klonaridis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Thanasis Siouras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marios Kouropoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Α.Σ. ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΙΤΟΧΩΡΟΥ's zone, Marinos Kagiorgis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filippos Mouratidis came out of the goal and Marinos Kagiorgis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marinos Kagiorgis to make the kick off. Thanasis Siouras scored 2-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Theofanis Klonaridis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute, Thanasis Siouras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Α.Σ. ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΙΤΟΧΩΡΟΥ's Anastasios Kamitsis got a free kick in the 69th minute. Sotos Mantas kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Filippos Mouratidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinos Kagiorgis in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Giannis Karalexopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Theofanis Klonaridis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Christoforos Paraskevas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignatios Plexidas hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignatios Iosifakis in the 95th minute of play forced Gasmades FC's goalkeeper Theofanis Klonaridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Α.Σ. ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΙΤΟΧΩΡΟΥ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gasmades FC for a fine match.
