DOXA DRAMAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Iosif Tassoglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaios Minou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alkis Vassaras hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Vassilis Voulgaridis, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. In the 46th minute, Avraam Markas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Iosif Tassoglou fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

Zacharias Porros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evripidis Tsanaklidis's late challenge caught a DOXA DRAMAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evripidis Tsanaklidis helped the player get up and apologised. Evripidis Tsanaklidis kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The DOXA DRAMAS fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when DOXA DRAMAS's Iosif Tassoglou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iosif Tassoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. One of DOXA DRAMAS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of STRIKERS FC:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in DOXA DRAMAS's zone, Stratos Tsimidakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis came out of the goal and Stratos Tsimidakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched STRIKERS FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
