In the 20th minute of the match, Achilleas Gonias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Michalis Gelis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Chatziioannou Panousopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Louis Tamvakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chatziioannou Panousopoulos having to interfere. After some careless play in the ΞΥΛΟΚΑΣΤΡΟ Α.Ο defense, Achilleas Gonias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michalis Gelis. The ΞΥΛΟΚΑΣΤΡΟ Α.Ο fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michalis Gelis should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd match minute, Loco Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petros Zacharatos to maneuver through the defense. Louis Tamvakis struck a weak shot in the 84th minute.
