After 4 minutes of play, aspromauros aetos's Fivos Kostaras made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manolis Koboropoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 7 minutes into the game, Stathis Kazatzidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Salamanlí's Manolis Koboropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fivos Kostaras in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Salamanlí's goal looked a bit too open when Fivos Kostaras came free, but Manolis Koboropoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Salamanlí's Kostas Lianopoulos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dionysis Politis. That made the score 1-3 after 31 minutes of play. The aspromauros aetos fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when aspromauros aetos's Stathis Kazatzidis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Stathis Kazatzidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manolis Koboropoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 79th minute Leonidas Efthimiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolis Koboropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionysis Politis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Sfakianos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
