Spectators: 7728 (Terracing: 5797, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Iosif Tassoglou made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, Legend's Lazaros Kyriakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vaggelis Eleftheriadis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zacharias Porros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanasis Oxyzoglou having to interfere. Zacharias Porros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Thanasis Oxyzoglou made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandros Mitrovassilis during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Legend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandros Mitrovassilis to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes, Antonis Adamidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legend and the DOXA DRAMAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Legend's Antonis Adamidis got a free kick in the 13th minute. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lazaros Kyriakos went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Lazaros Kyriakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lazaros Kyriakos in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vaggelis Eleftheriadis saved DOXA DRAMAS from getting behind. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thodoris Paspalakis in the 31st minute of play. Legend's Thanasis Oxyzoglou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Legend from getting a goal against them. Iosif Tassoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Alexandros Mitrovassilis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacharias Porros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Thanasis Oxyzoglou made a huge save. After 45 played minutes DOXA DRAMAS got a freekick which was hit by Timos Vasilakopoulos. The supporters of Legend booed when DOXA DRAMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alkis Vassaras didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Legend were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lazaros Kyriakos to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to DOXA DRAMAS getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Prodromos Kirmitzas hit a great ball. When Thodoris Paspalakis came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Legend fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thodoris Paspalakis couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Thodoris Paspalakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Thodoris Paspalakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legend's supporters rose to their feet, but Thodoris Paspalakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the game, one of DOXA DRAMAS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Legend. Marinos Ifantidis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vaggelis Eleftheriadis. 0-2. In the 72nd minute, Iosif Tassoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zacharias Porros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Alkis Vassaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. DOXA DRAMAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkis Vassaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanasis Oxyzoglou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacharias Porros in the 78th minute of play forced Legend's goalkeeper Thanasis Oxyzoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iosif Tassoglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Legend getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Iraklis Charatos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Legend's Alexandros Mitrovassilis got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antonis Adamidis. Thodoris Paspalakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Eleftheriadis having to interfere. Thanasis Oxyzoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Tassoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The supporters of Legend booed when DOXA DRAMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timos Vasilakopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazaros Kyriakos in the 97th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacharias Porros in the 100th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thanasis Oxyzoglou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Legend supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Legend would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
