Loco Lions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salamanlí the free kick. The supporters of Salamanlí booed when Loco Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minas Kalkavouras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manolis Koboropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petros Zacharatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Achilleas Gonias got free with Manolis Koboropoulos in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Kostas Lianopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chatziioannou Panousopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manolis Koboropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achilleas Gonias in the 33rd minute of play. Salamanlí's Iraklis Meletakis got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Salamanlí booed when Loco Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minas Kalkavouras didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iraklis Meletakis made a kick off. Giannis Sfakianos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Achilleas Gonias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manolis Koboropoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Achilleas Gonias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Veniamin Zelelidis lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Manolis Koboropoulos had in the 99thth minute some difficulties stopping Michalis Papapostolou's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Michalis Papapostolou scored 2-2 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manolis Koboropoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Despite being the better team, Salamanlí failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
