Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iosif Tassoglou took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, DOXA DRAMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Sfakianos came free, but Vaggelis Eleftheriadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salamanlí's Manolis Koboropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Tassoglou in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacharias Porros in the 7th minute of play forced Salamanlí's goalkeeper Manolis Koboropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, DOXA DRAMAS's Iosif Tassoglou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manolis Koboropoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in DOXA DRAMAS's zone, Iraklis Meletakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis came out of the goal and Iraklis Meletakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Kostas Lianopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salamanlí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostas Lianopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to DOXA DRAMAS getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alkis Vassaras hit a great ball. Iosif Tassoglou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manolis Koboropoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Iosif Tassoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Manolis Koboropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Zacharias Porros managed to get in a good position for a shot. DOXA DRAMAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacharias Porros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolis Koboropoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th match minute, Salamanlí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Lianopoulos to maneuver through the defense. When Zacharias Porros came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the DOXA DRAMAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacharias Porros couldn't finish the play. DOXA DRAMAS's Vaggelis Eleftheriadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iraklis Meletakis in the 42nd minute of play. Manolis Koboropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacharias Porros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Iraklis Meletakis made the kick off in the second half. Iraklis Meletakis charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iraklis Meletakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Salamanlí getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Iraklis Meletakis hit a great ball. Zacharias Toris was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Iosif Tassoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DOXA DRAMAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iosif Tassoglou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zacharias Porros got free with Manolis Koboropoulos in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manolis Koboropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Tassoglou in the 64th minute of play. Zacharias Porros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolis Koboropoulos having to interfere. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iraklis Meletakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Salamanlí getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Giannis Sfakianos hit a great ball. Iosif Tassoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Iosif Tassoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolis Koboropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacharias Porros struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Manolis Koboropoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DOXA DRAMAS. If Iosif Tassoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DOXA DRAMAS's Zacharias Porros got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of DOXA DRAMAS booed when Salamanlí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Sfakianos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
