The audience thought a goal was coming when Giotis Moustakidis got free with Giannis Rovolas in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 minutes of play, Ravaged Boys's Charalambos Solomos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgos Georgiou was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th match minute, Ravaged Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Skiadas to maneuver through the defense. Timos Dermitzakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Giorgos Georgiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aimilios Nioras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Vassilis Stefanidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Georgiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Vassilis Stefanidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ravaged Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vassilis Stefanidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charalambos Solomos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute, Koulis Tsaris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stelios Tarantakis to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Evaggelos Tsopelas got a free kick in the 51st minute. Giorgos Georgiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charalambos Solomos in the 53rd minute of play. Timos Dermitzakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ravaged Boys's Argyris Plitsis was substituted for Timos Dermitzakis. Aimilios Nioras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. When Theofanis Philipopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ravaged Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theofanis Philipopoulos couldn't finish the play. After having played for 84 minutes, Theofanis Philipopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ravaged Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theofanis Philipopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ravaged Boys's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
