Markos Soupidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christos Zervoudakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takis Katsoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Deviliakos FC's Omiros Soumis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pipis Adamakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th match minute, Deviliakos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Papastefanou to maneuver through the defense. Markos Soupidis struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Christos Zervoudakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PaokEuosmou. After some careless play in the Deviliakos FC defense, Takis Katsoulis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christos Zervoudakis. The Deviliakos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christos Zervoudakis should have stopped the shot. The supporters of PaokEuosmou booed when Deviliakos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Maridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Takis Katsoulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Christos Zervoudakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alketas Mantouvalos couldn't finish the play. If Omiros Soumis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alketas Mantouvalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markos Soupidis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Christos Zervoudakis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Takis Katsoulis came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the PaokEuosmou fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takis Katsoulis couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, PaokEuosmou's Markos Soupidis got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Stamatis Papastefanou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in PaokEuosmou's zone, Alketas Mantouvalos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pipis Adamakis came out of the goal and Alketas Mantouvalos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Takis Katsoulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Christos Zervoudakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Deviliakos FC could leave the field as winners, despite PaokEuosmou having more of the ball for most of the match.
