Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miltos Sgouros started the match with the kick off. Thomas Vougas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lambros Barlas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demis Kostenoglou hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Simos Plitsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoros Zotalis in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Thomas Vougas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anatolou's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Vougas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lambros Barlas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Miltos Sgouros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Isidoros Zotalis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simos Plitsis. Anatolou's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoros Zotalis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Nasos Okkas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lambros Barlas having to make a save. When Nasos Okkas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Anatolou fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nasos Okkas couldn't finish the play. Lambros Barlas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasos Okkas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Simos Plitsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoros Zotalis in the 34th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Agia Sofia's Alketas Aggelidis tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Miltos Sgouros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agia Sofia's Isidoros Zotalis got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miltos Sgouros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simos Plitsis having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Nasos Okkas made the kick off in the second half. Agia Sofia's Lambros Barlas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasos Okkas in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Anatolou's zone, Isidoros Zotalis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simos Plitsis came out of the goal and Isidoros Zotalis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lambros Barlas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Vougas, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Agia Sofia's Lambros Barlas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Vougas in the 70th minute of play. Miltos Sgouros charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miltos Sgouros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Miltos Sgouros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rdth minute of the game Thomas Vougas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Agia Sofia's Lambros Barlas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simos Plitsis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miltos Sgouros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 74 minute of play. Thomas Vougas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lambros Barlas having to interfere. Agia Sofia's Lambros Barlas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasos Okkas in the 87th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Agia Sofia's Miltos Sgouros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simos Plitsis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anatolou's Simos Plitsis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Anatolou from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the game, Demis Kostenoglou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anatolou's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agia Sofia the free kick. 98 minutes into the match, Anatolou's goalkeeper Simos Plitsis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoros Zotalis.
