The audience thought a goal was coming when Aimilios Nioras got free with Simos Plitsis in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Thalis Stavrakakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Charalambos Solomos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anatolou's Simos Plitsis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Anatolou from getting a goal against them. If Timos Dermitzakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd of the match, Aimilios Nioras tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Simos Plitsis got in the way and made a wonderful save. Simos Plitsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vassilis Stefanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Anatolou's zone, Charalambos Solomos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aimilios Nioras in the 32nd minute of play forced Anatolou's goalkeeper Simos Plitsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Demis Kostenoglou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anatolou's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ravaged Boys the free kick. Demis Kostenoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Charalambos Solomos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simos Plitsis having to interfere. When Demis Kostenoglou was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. In the 38th match minute, Anatolou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demis Kostenoglou to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Vladimiros Papadakoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ravaged Boys's Aimilios Nioras in 43 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Simos Plitsis guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Simos Plitsis made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Timos Dermitzakis sent off a good shot on target. Simos Plitsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aimilios Nioras in the 46th minute of play. Koulis Tsaris struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Aimilios Nioras made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Aimilios Nioras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anatolou's Simos Plitsis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Anatolou's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Solomos came free, but Simos Plitsis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Aimilios Nioras put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Simos Plitsis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aimilios Nioras in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simos Plitsis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Anatolou's Nasos Okkas got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes Ravaged Boys got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Stefanidis. Simos Plitsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aimilios Nioras, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Ravaged Boys got a freekick which was hit by Koulis Tsaris. Ravaged Boys made a substitution. Theofanis Philipopoulos replaced Aimilios Nioras. Theofanis Philipopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Simos Plitsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ravaged Boys's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
