Stamatis Koulakiotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nasos Okkas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Thomas Vougas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nasos Okkas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Klarαdhika BC defense, Thomas Vougas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stamatis Koulakiotis. The Klarαdhika BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stamatis Koulakiotis should have stopped the shot. With his leg Stamatis Koulakiotis managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Anatolou's Thomas Vougas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Klarαdhika BC's Vladimiros Tsouganatos got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Klarαdhika BC's zone, Thomas Vougas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stamatis Koulakiotis came out of the goal and Thomas Vougas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stamatis Koulakiotis made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Thomas Vougas sent off a good shot on target. Leonidas Moustakis's late challenge caught a Anatolou's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonidas Moustakis helped the player get up and apologised. Thomas Vougas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vladimiros Tsouganatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anatolou's Simos Plitsis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Anatolou from getting a goal against them. When Vladimiros Tsouganatos came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Klarαdhika BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiros Tsouganatos couldn't finish the play. Klarαdhika BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Vougas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
