Panos Karagiozoglou started the match with the kick off. Evaggelos Belesis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Karagiozoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Thodoris Matzios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefanos Katsabas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes, Telis Sioufas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pieria fc and the Dhonιοka BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Vlassis Romanidis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pieria fc's Evaggelos Belesis didn't even have to move. 15 minutes into the match, Dhonιοka BC's goal looked a bit too open when Stefanos Katsabas came free, but Thodoris Matzios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Aris Zounis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pieria fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Aris Zounis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thodoris Matzios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zinon Chatzievaggellou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaggelos Belesis having to interfere. Pieria fc's Evaggelos Belesis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Karagiozoglou in the 29th minute of play. Thodoris Matzios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefanos Katsabas in the 36th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Stefanos Katsabas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

If Stefanos Katsabas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Panos Karagiozoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaggelos Belesis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes, Zinon Chatzievaggellou made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pieria fc's Evaggelos Belesis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aris Zounis in the 69th minute of play forced Dhonιοka BC's goalkeeper Thodoris Matzios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zinon Chatzievaggellou's late challenge caught a Pieria fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zinon Chatzievaggellou helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dhonιοka BC's Zinon Chatzievaggellou got a free kick in the 75th minute. Zinon Chatzievaggellou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zinon Chatzievaggellou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Pieria fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telis Sioufas to maneuver through the defense. Evaggelos Belesis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Karagiozoglou in the 84th minute of the match. Pieria fc's Evaggelos Belesis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Kalabosis in the 92nd minute of play. Thodoris Matzios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefanos Katsabas in the 94th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Aris Zounis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pieria fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Aris Zounis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thodoris Matzios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Dhonιοka BC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pieria fc from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
