Giorgos Karouzos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Fowler in the 25th minute of play. The Perdhνki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giorgos Karouzos should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perdhνki's goalkeeper Giorgos Karouzos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Perdhνki's Giorgos Karouzos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Fowler in the 41st minute of play.
