Nikitas Pomonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasios Zimaras in the 9th minute of play. Charalambos Giannakoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Tzorvas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, AKONTION's goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Skapaneas came free, but Charalambos Giannakoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odysseas Loulakis in the 16th minute of play forced AKONTION's goalkeeper Charalambos Giannakoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vaios Rigatos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Anastasios Zimaras's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Nikitas Pomonis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 41st minute Vaios Rigatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charalambos Giannakoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Alexis Tzorvas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Charalambos Giannakoulis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Anastasios Zimaras came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the AKONTION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasios Zimaras couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alexis Tzorvas made the kick off in the second half. Nikitas Pomonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasios Zimaras in the 56th minute of the match. Alkaios Polimenopoulos's late challenge caught a AKONTION's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alkaios Polimenopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. Alkaios Polimenopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Prodromos Lithopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Voúlista Panayía BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AKONTION the free kick. Odysseas Loulakis kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Voúlista Panayía BC's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasios Zimaras came free, but Nikitas Pomonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexis Tzorvas ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sakis Skapaneas got free with Charalambos Giannakoulis in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute of the match, Alexis Tzorvas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Charalambos Giannakoulis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Apostolis Pagonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Nikitas Pomonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Voúlista Panayía BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Tzorvas to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Voúlista Panayía BC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
