Spectators: 7734 (Terracing: 5802, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonidas Pantelakos started the match with the kick off. Theofanis Charalambakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eutichios Sfakianakis's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After 6 minutes, Lambis Vedinoglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Larisaikos f.c. and the Sayιοka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lambis Vedinoglou hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Olimpiu Videanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonidas Pantelakos in the 12th minute of the match. Sayιοka's Eutichios Sfakianakis got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Larisaikos f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Miltiadis Spyridakis came free, but Theofanis Charalambakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Videanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonidas Pantelakos in the 23rd minute of play. Theofanis Charalambakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Lepouras, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 27 played minutes Larisaikos f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Antonis Meletoglou. In the 32nd minute Panagiotis Pindonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theofanis Charalambakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eutichios Sfakianakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Sayιοka's Vaggelis Lepouras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theofanis Charalambakos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Miltiadis Spyridakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eutichios Sfakianakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The supporters of Sayιοka booed when Larisaikos f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Meletoglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alketas Zikos's late challenge caught a Sayιοka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alketas Zikos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Larisaikos f.c. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alketas Zikos hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Theofanis Charalambakos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. During the 55th minute of the match Alketas Zikos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alketas Zikos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Alketas Zikos hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Eutichios Sfakianakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Theofanis Charalambakos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 59 in the game by Vaggelis Lepouras from a close distance when the talented Theofanis Charalambakos managed to make a qualified save. Larisaikos f.c.'s players were relieved. Panagiotis Pindonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Theofanis Charalambakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67thth minute of the game Eutichios Sfakianakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Larisaikos f.c.'s Theofanis Charalambakos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eutichios Sfakianakis struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Theofanis Charalambakos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sayιοka. Theofanis Charalambakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eutichios Sfakianakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A collision led to Larisaikos f.c. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Lefteris Kladakis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eutichios Sfakianakis in the 79th minute of play forced Larisaikos f.c.'s goalkeeper Theofanis Charalambakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 82 in the game by Panagiotis Pindonis from a close distance when the talented Theofanis Charalambakos managed to make a qualified save. Larisaikos f.c.'s players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Larisaikos f.c.'s Lambis Vedinoglou got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Sayιοka got a corner. Larisaikos f.c.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Nedim Aksoy ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eutichios Sfakianakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Theofanis Charalambakos managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Sayιοka's Vaggelis Lepouras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 91st minute, Eutichios Sfakianakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theofanis Charalambakos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Sayιοka's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
