Periklis Stathakoglou hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Christoforos Peppes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, City fc's Thomas Papafanakis threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stelios Skapaneas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alkinoos Tsitsinakis charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 72 played minutes Fanis Michos rounded City fc's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Thomas Papafanakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelios Skapaneas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes, Prokopis Traganitis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the City fc and the ΑΕΤΟΣ ΑΙΓΙΝΑΣ players grew even worse after the yellow card.
