Fanis Karagiotis came out of the goal and Alketas Kouris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Alketas Kouris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Alketas Kounoupis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vaggelis Seretis. 3kala FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alketas Kounoupis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Christos Fragis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vaggelis Seretis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Alketas Kounoupis came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vaggelis Seretis could save by the left post. Vaggelis Seretis was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Christos Fragis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christos Fragis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Fanis Karagiotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alketas Kouris in the 38th minute of the match. Giorgos Kapatais scored 2-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fanis Karagiotis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alketas Kounoupiss short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Vaggelis Seretis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christos Fragis made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Alketas Kounoupis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vaggelis Seretis. 3kala FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alketas Kounoupis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The audience was convinced that Alketas Kouris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fanis Karagiotis was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. A collision led to Zakynthiakos FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Christos Sifakis hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Manos Tselekidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of 3kala FC booed when Zakynthiakos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Tselekidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 minutes of play, 3kala FC's Giorgos Kapatais made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fanis Karagiotis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Zakynthiakos FC's goalkeeper Fanis Karagiotis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgos Kapatais. The audience was convinced that Christos Fragis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vaggelis Seretis was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zakynthiakos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while 3kala FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
